About Us
The Carolinas' Steppers Connection's inception occurred in 2005 with the mission to change the Triad Night Life. The passion for Steppin developed from watching movies and seeing footage of this culturally rich African American ballroom. Our journey or quest to learn this artform ignited something internally that has been burning brightly for five years. Promotion of Steppin ensued with monthly workshops and sets and ultimately partnerships with some of Chicago's best Steppin instructors and mentors. Five years later and three SUCCESSFUL Steppers Balls under our belt, we are now in pursuit of taking it to the NEXT LEVEL. We CONTINUE to Set the Standard in Steppin.

To spread the love of Steppin, incorporate the principles of Steppin in non-profit arenas, and network with other entrepreneurs & steppin enthusiasts, while enjoying history, culture, and an amazing life-changing experience.

A for-profit organization who partner with non-profit entities to give back to the community the love and joy we experience in Steppin. We are a team dedicated to preserving the history of this dance while equipping the future generations with the skills to continue on the legacy that began in the urban communities of Chicago, Illinois.
